Delete your LexTap account

Request permanent deletion of your LexTap: Read & Translate account and associated data without installing or signing in to the app.

Request deletion by email

Email lextap@atomicmail.io with the subject Delete my LexTap account. If possible, send the request from the email address registered with your LexTap account. State that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.

We may ask you to confirm ownership by replying from your registered email address before processing the request. If you cannot access that address, contact support to discuss ownership verification; deletion will not proceed until ownership has been confirmed. Never send your password, authentication tokens, purchase token, or payment card details.

A fixed processing timeframe for email requests has not yet been established. Support will confirm the next steps and expected timing after reviewing your request. Opening this page does not delete anything.

You can also delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account → Delete permanently. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Data deleted with your account

• Your account, authentication sessions, language preferences stored with the account, and saved reading progress.
• Your personal EPUB document records, extracted chapters and text, document progress, and import history.
• Account-linked translation usage, quota events, and links between your account and installation records.
• LexTap purchase records and Premium entitlements. This does not delete payment records held by the store.

Uploaded source EPUBs, covers, and derived files are queued for removal from file storage. Cleanup normally starts within a minute while the service is running. Failed storage deletions are retried automatically, and pending cleanup survives server restarts. There is no guaranteed completion time during storage failures. Temporary cleanup records retain the storage service name, object key, and retry information until removal succeeds.

Data that may remain

• Anti-abuse installation records: the installation identifier digest and quota state may remain without the deleted account link to prevent repeated Free quota creation. No automatic age-based deletion period is currently configured.
• Shared translation caches: these have no account index and are not selectively erased with an account. Redis cache lifetimes default to 90 days for words and 180 days for text and may vary with configuration. The older database translation cache has no automatic expiration and may contain source text, context, and translations.
• Store notifications: identifiable payloads in older notifications are cleared when matched to your purchases. Event identifiers, types, providers, and processing timestamps remain for deduplication; no automatic deletion period is specified.
• Operational logs, hosting backups, and support correspondence: these are not automatically erased by account deletion. Fixed retention periods have not been established in this policy. Contact support about retained copies and other privacy requests.
• Device data: deletion initiated in the app clears its authentication tokens, pending purchase references, account quota markers, and scheduled quota reminders. Device preferences, the random installation identifier, and cached personal EPUB covers are not cleared by that cleanup. The cover cache is configured for 30 days, which is not a guaranteed physical deletion deadline. An email request cannot remotely erase local data on your devices.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your LexTap account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop renewal, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LexTap and cancel the subscription, or manage your Google Play subscriptions. You can request account deletion while your subscription is active; cancellation is not a prerequisite.
